Chi Walking, developed by Danny and Katherine Dreyer, has its roots in San Francisco, where Danny first started teaching the sister-technique, Chi Running, in 1999. After many requests from customers to develop a similar walking program, the Dreyers wrote ChiWalking: Fitness Walking for Lifelong Health and Energy, published by Simon & Schuster in 2006. Chi Walking has helped revolutionize walking -- one of the most economical and accessible forms of fitness -- into an enjoyable, pain-free, life enhancing activity. Individuals who practice Chi Walking have training programs, DVDs, audio programs and Certified Instructors available to help them learn the life-changing practice of walking.

Medical Advisory Board
Our Medical Advisory Board (MAB) is a panel of health care professionals who agree with and approve of the Chi Running and Chi Walking methods of movement. Our board members are familiar with Chi Running and Chi Walking, use the techniques themselves, and in many cases, "prescribe" our movement techniques to their patients to reduce pain, prevent surgery and maintain mobility.
