Join me on a healthful, energizing, and rewarding journey!
Experience the joy of training for a full marathon using the Chi Running technique. In your training you’ll focus on running safely and efficiently so there’s less stress to your body. You’ll learn how to add new levels of relaxation to your running through proper body alignment.
Join me to train for the Columbus Marathon using the Chi Running technique.
This will be a unique training experience! We will use the Chi Running PAIN-FREE Marathon Training Program developed by Katherine and Danny Dreyer. Plus, I will be your personal Chi Running Coach to help guide you in applying the Chi Running focuses and technique throughout the 24-week training period. Along with lots of personal coaching, you will also experience the motivation and encouragement of running with others to keep you going through your training.

You’ll learn proper body alignment and movement techniques that will give you a powerful sense of balance and stability, as well as relaxation and spaciousness in your body and mind.
The ChiWalking program combines the inner focus and flow of T’ai Chi with walking to create efficient and graceful movement. This approach engages the use of your core muscles for propulsion instead of relying solely on your legs.
We will practice ChiWalking outside to be able to put together all that we have learned. So check the weather forecast and dress appropriately.

This Workshop is conducted in two sessions to help you learn Chi Running in the principle of gradual progress. What you learn during each session you will be able to practice on your own to feel what it feels like to move in a new and more efficient way. You will then come back for the next session to review and build on what you have learned.
You will be guided through many exercises and drills designed to leave you with a clear sense of what the Chi Running technique feels like in your body. We will not be doing lots of running (contrary to what you might have imagined), so no matter what condition you are in, have no fear.
We will spend time alternating between demonstrations, fun exercises and technique drills…the nature of the day will be relaxed, full and inspiring.
We will run outside to be able to put together all that we have learned. So check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Please bring snacks and water if needed.
Learn the basics of Chi Running. The Workshop will cover:

• The Keys to Effortless, Injury-free Running
• The Physics of Running: Run without Using Your Legs

When you’re not Chi Running, Chi Walking can give you a wonderful cross-training experience to enhance your fitness program.
