Chi Walking Certified Instructors can:
- Teach individuals and groups the Chi Walking technique
- Use the Chi Walking 8-Week Workbook to teach the Chi Walking method
- Give public talks and presentations
- Lead group walks
- Write articles about Chi Walking (with final approval from Chi Living)
- Use the Chi Walking logo to market your business (as specified)
- Have a free, priority listing on the Chi Walking website
- Sell Chi Walking products (buy them wholesale from Chi Living, Inc.)

**The Home Study course is an important part of your preparation. We recommend a minimum of 12 hours of study and personal practice, and 4 hours of pro-bono practice teaching before attending the Course.
International applicants are required to pay the full amount at the time of registration and will be charged for additional shipping and handling costs: Europe: $32; Canada: $16; South America: $31; New Zealand/ Australia: $38. Potential taxes and duties from your country may be applied. Please contact Chi Living for more information.

After your Chi Walking Instructor Certification Course and beyond:
Required for Chi Walking Instructor Certification:
- Successful completion of the Chi Walking Instructor Training course
- Current CPR certification
- Personal Trainer Insurance (can be obtained for about $150 per year)
- Approval review from a Certifying Instructor
Certification Policy:
A Certifying Instructor must approve your final certification. An additional review of your teaching may be required if you are not approved. You will receive written instructions as to what you need to do to become Certified, however you will not get a refund of fees paid.
Annual Certification Renewal Fee and Recertification Course:
There is an annual renewal fee of $90 to keep your Certification and your updated listing on the Chi Walking website. At this time, Chi Walking Instructors are not required to take a Recertification Course, but that policy may change. Contact Chi Living for details about annual fee requirements and attendance at a recertification course.
Cancellation Policy:The Chi Walking Home Study Program is required and non-refundable. If you pay the full amount of the course upfront and cancel 6 or more weeks before the first day of the course, you will receive a refund less a processing fee of $50. If you cancel less than 6 weeks from the start of the course, your payments are non-refundable, but applicable toward another CWIT within 1 year, contingent upon space availability.
